Explanation

So, my post the other day was a marathon post. This one probably will be too. That’s what happens when you don’t have cell phone and can’t talk to anyone. Anyway, here is where I will explain myself as to why we are moving all of the sudden.

We loved the apt we were in. Its a really nice one bedroom apt with a washer and dryer (which i cannot live without). However, we found out that they are raising the price after August, and I had already felt it was a little high for as small as it was. We decided to start looking at other apts. There was no pressure though, because if we didn’t find anything we would just stay and be happy in our great apt.

We’ve been looking for the last two months and hadn’t fallen in love with anything. I felt like we were too spoiled with our first apartment, because I could walk into an apt and with the first glance, know immediately yes or no. When you walk into a place and the first thing your eyes can’t help but see is a teeny oven that is neon carrot or atomic tangerine, holes in the yellowing walls, and stains all over the carpet you can’t help but be a little turned off. Plus, I was being a bit of a brat with all the things I wanted (ie a dishwasher, central air, washer dryer, microwave, and stove/oven) because there was ALWAYS at least one thing missing in every apt. But I couldn’t help it because that’s what we’ve had in the apt. we lived in for the past year.

Sooo, that’s why, when we saw this new apartment, we had to snag it immediately. It has every single thing on my check list, plus another room, new tile flooring in the kitchen and bathroom, brand new carpet, two walk in closets, all new appliances, new cabinetry in the kitchen, covered parking, new sinks in the kitchen and bathroom, and a great location. The very best thing about the new apartment is that it is CHEAPER than the one we have now!!!!! We are so grateful that we were able to find this apartment and that there was an opening. We talked to a neighbor and asked him how he likes it and after telling us how he loved it he said, “But good luck getting in. We waited a year before we could move in here. The way we finally got in was by putting fliers on every single door in the complex, asking people to call us if they were moving out so we could get their spot.” We are thankful for this new place and how perfect it is for us. It was so important to find a place we loved because this will be the last place we move while we’re in Utah. So we could be here for awhile :)

Okay, so at first I read that and thought that you took the apt with the atomic tangerine oven because it had all the other things you wanted!!! After reading it again, I think I got it :) haha Your new place looks great! Where is it at?? I still wish you were at our apts!!!!!!!
