::ticked::

I'm behind on posting pics of what we've been up to because last week was a little busy (and I got sick). Now that I'm better, instead of catching up by posting those things, I NEED to let it be known how ticked I am that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is NOT coming out in November anymore :( This has been known for awhile, but i'm just getting mad about it all over again.

The 6th book (this movie) was my very favorite and I am sooo excited for the movie. Its the perfect holiday movie, but the producers believe they'll make more money if they release it in the summer. I would say boycott and don't go see it in the theater, but who am I kidding. I'll be there opening night :)

Since I have to survive somehow, I finally started the Twilight series. I guess that will get me through these hard times while I wait.

p.s. Harry Potter producers,
you're going to make a LOT of money no matter when its released (as if you don't have enough already).

::more about jack::

Sorry, I know all my posts are about babies and kids lately, but this is actually all we've been up to! Just wanted to share this cute video of my nephew Jack:

Like I mentioned before, we got to babysit Jack while Sarah (my sister) was having her baby, and it was so fun to get to know him! We don't see them that often, and every time they visit, he's been pretty shy, but this time he was sooo cute and talkative! We went to Costco and tried all the free samples, then we went for a walk down this little main street that had lots of shops. The cute video above is when we went into an antique store, and he freaked out because he saw some trains. His whole body was shaking, he was so excited! We had so much fun!

Watching the cars go by...believe it or not, besides seeing the antique toy trains,
this was the most fun Jack had all day :)

He was cute with Addie too! So happy :)

Tired after a long day

::Spoiled::

This weekend we feel like we were so spoiled! We got to hold not 1, but 2 of the sweetest babies!

Welcome to the world Addie

Welcome home Avery

I didn't want to tell anyone at the time, but I almost cried when I held each of them for the first time. Maybe its because I just learned all about the pre-natal period and how babies grow and develop during pregnancy in Anatomy class, or maybe I'm just emotional, or maybe its because I just feel their sweet completely pure spirits! For lack of a better phrase, we are "seriously so blessed" to have such sweet and healthy little nieces, and to get to spend time with them! We love them both so much!

*For more of each read posts below

::Addie::

Addie's here!!! We got to babysit Jack for Sarah and Eric, while Addie was born (i know you're jealous). He was so happy and good the whole time! We'll tell you more about that later. For now...

Isn't she precious? She's the cutest little 6 pounder I've ever seen! We love you Addie!
Who do you think she looks like?

::Avery::

We were sooooo excited to get to visit our neice, Avery at her own house! That's right, baby Avery got to go home with her parents on Thursday, and you better believe we didn't waste any time and went to visit her immediately.

Although she is still small, we can't believe how she's grown! She is the cutest 4 pounder I've ever met! It was so fun to finally be able to hold the sweet little bundle in our arms. Ry and Steph "let" us change her diaper and feed and burp her!

She is so cute! And we can't wait to see her grow and learn! We love you Avery!

::change::

Just wanted to share one of the gems from conference this weekend:

"Throughout our lives, we must deal with change. Some changes are welcome, some are not. Some happen suddenly, but most take place subtly and slowly."

"This is our one and only chance at mortal life — here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization it is brief."

"Don't let the most important things pass while dreaming of an illusive future based on time to fulfill leisurely pursuits. Instead, find joy in the journey — now."

"What is most important almost always involves the people around us. ... Send that note to the friend you've been neglecting; give your child a hug; give your parents a hug; say 'I love you' more; always express your thanks. ... Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey and share our love with friends and family. One day, each of us will run out of tomorrows."

-President Thomas S. Monson

We loved conference (as usual) and felt like there were a lot of messages about hope, which seem very pertinent during this time. This quote, from the prophet, about change was especially comforting to me. We LOVE to think of our future together and dream of what our family will be like, where we'll live, and how life will be, we sometimes forget to take time to enjoy the life we have RIGHT NOW! And in reality, we don't know what joys and challenges lay in our future, all we know for sure is that we'll be together. RIGHT NOW we live in a little apartment that we love, we have the opportunity to gain knowledge at one of the best universities, we are working harder than ever, and we are having more fun together doing all of it than we ever had before! Enjoy life now. After all, it will never be the same twice!
