On the morning of the 4th we went to see the hot air balloons at 6am! I've lived here for 5 years now but this was my first time to actually get myself out of bed to go. It was worth it. They played patriotic music and it felt good to be out with the community celebrating our nation's existence and freedom.

besides all the patriotic fun, it was also beautiful to see a little bit of the sunrise that morning :)

awesome pics! i remember in mequite getting up on the roof of the house and watching them float by in the mornings. so cool! that is neat they have a "show" for you in town!

2nd to the last pic=the best one! I have never been to a balloon festival but really would like to go. It looked like a lot of fun, even if it was early in the morning. :)
