My wife will like that...

Not much is going on, but I just thought I'd post because I know a lot of you are probably wondering why B hasn't made a post about Wahsington yet. He will, he's just getting back into the swing of things. Its hard to come back to school after having so much fun for 5 days! And today he is taking a practice MCAT for 4 hours. I haven't actually talked to him on the phone since his layover yesterday morning, so he must be having a good time :) This is a pic he sent me last night:

I realize that this is probably the crappiest quality picture possible, but its all I've gotten, so there ya go. I can't wait to hear all about it!

Meanwhile, Sarah came down this weekend and we spent the night at Carrie's last night and had some fun sister time!! It was Griff's 2 year b-day! We had a little party for Griff, ate yummy cupcakes that Carrie made, talked and talked while doing all of the above, and then watched Nights in Rondanthe. Our husbands will be so happy that now they don't ever have to watch it with us.

Today, Steph and I got to go dress shopping with Danee again and had fun sister-in-law time!! Danee is the cutest bride-to-be I know!

And since I have the greatest friends in the world, they came over tonight and we played games, ate ice cream, and talked for hours.

I don't have my camera and I feel like my right thumb is missing because, as you may have noticed, I like to document life with pics :)

On valentine's day, we had a picnic in our living room:

(my favorite thing was that he seriously didn't know he had chocolate fangs until I told him after I took the pic :)

Boyfriend gave me all the prettiest things for my b-day.

He knows me so well. This proves that really does listen to me when we go to antique stores. All items were from local antique shops. 

(not pictured- candelabras that I've been wanting since October, a big glass bowl that matches with the plates, and a beautiful German antique clock)

I've been having a hard time keeping up on my posts, but better late than never, right? I had a delightful 24th (really. 24?) birthday :)

B took me to the Jazz/Mavs game! Even though the Mavs got spanked, I had tons of fun. I forgot how much I LOVE going to basketball games!

On Friday I celebrated with Brady's family at Pizza Factory!

Danee and I were the princesses of the night with our tiaras (thanks Steph)!

Then we went back to our place for guitar hero! Everyone got a chance to rock out :)

Does anyone else ever feel like the one day they have "off" always ends up being the busiest? I normally have school and/or work Mon-Fri which means that I save my entire "to do" list for Saturday. This Saturday was no exception. After waking up early and running my errands I got to have an action packed day full of fun and friends.

1st I got to go to a friend from work's Bridal/Bachelorette party at Spark:


and we had apple martini's and appetizers


2nd was enrichment where we had the yummiest/cutest desert bar:


and we learned 10 ways to make our marriage marvelous:


3rd was to abella bridal in riverwoods to see Danee (sis-in-law) try on wedding dresses!!! She just got engaged last week :)


Then all us gals enjoyed some frozen yogurt!


It was a good day :)

Life lately...

Its been awhile since my last post. I've been a little busy lately with bridal showers, enrichment, engagements, school, work, baby showers, having fun with my mother-in-law (who is in town), and my birthday in the middle of it all. I just wanted to say that I love my husband for all his help and his patience with me when I loose my head! I feel like I've been a little flaky lately. If you've been on the receiving end of that flakiness I apologize!
