Puppy

*All my posts are completely random right now. I can't seem to find a groove lately. I guess the randomness demonstrates how unorganized my life feels right now. Sorry for the meaninglessness, but either I stop blogging all together or I try to push through it. Here's my best attempt at a post.

Brady calls Liv 'puppy dog'.

We found her shredding a paper towel with the remains all around her.

She always has her tongue hanging out.

She bites and chews on anything and everything.

And, no matter how many times I wipe her nose, she has a constant flow of snot and drool on her face at all times.

She is loyal and watches and waits while we do our chores to play with us after.

And she's just so darn cute!

Just a cute picture of Daddy and his puppy... I mean baby.

A date with the ducks

Spring

B's family was in town last weekend!

We had dinner at the park on Sunday...This is the only picture on the camera from that day. Good work B, now we know who the most important members of the family are to you :)

It was so nice to have Debi in town and helping with Olivia while I studied/took my finals and Brady began studying for his 2 big OChem tests. I'm sure we wouldn't have done as well on our tests if she wasn't there to tend.

On Wednesday after I was done, we headed over to another park to enjoy the beautiful weather!

I love this pic of Grandma with her grandbabies. Its so funny to think that Avery and Olivia have about the same age gap as Ryan and Brady! She was probably having a flash back as she was running after these two :)

Friday we all got together one last time before Debi left. We were celebrating Danee going through the temple! We are so happy for her :) Love this fun group of people, and Riley too (he was taking the pic)!

Ready for a break

Last week I completed my first year of dental hygiene school!

I am more than thrilled to have this last semester behind me. With Brady taking on a heavier load in order to get all the grades on his transcript for when he applies to med school, the scheduling of everything was a bit more difficult.

I don't know what we would have done if we didn't have the best family nearby to help us with Livy. She LOVES her Aunties!!! A huge thanks to Danee, Steph, and Carrie.

Hallelujah! We're 2nd years!

I was so lucky to have family in town who let me clean their teeth!
Here are more pics of when Colson came to visit :)

Another highlight of the year was participating in Give Kids a Smile
I was able to assist and clean teeth as well as place sealants for
underprivileged kids in the community.
One year down, one more to go!

7 months

She is seriously soooo much fun and the cutest thing ever EVER! This has been my very favorite stage so far. Nothing makes me feel better than when she reaches for me, smiles at me, giggles, or gives kisses! I love this baby girl!
Now:
  • she reaches one arm toward us when she wants us to hold her (or when either of us comes home after being away)
  • she is getting better at crawling and can get from one corner of the room to the other.
  • she does the cutest side sit (where she props herself on her hip and her arm), I can't even explain it so I'll try to get a pic
  • she can transition from crawling to sitting and back down to crawling
  • she LOVES computers, diamond rings, cell phones, and anything shiny (YIKES!)
  • she giggles a lot more and there is no sweeter sound
  • she kicks her legs HARD when she gets excited
  • she uses one little pointer finger to touch new things before grabbing with her whole hand
  • she's cuddly again! she's still a wiggly worm (one of the squirmiest babies I've ever met) but she puts her face into my shoulder when she's tired and yesterday she was crawling into my lap and burying her head in my stomach.
  • we're trying to teach her to kiss. so far she just sticks her tongue out or opens her mouth when we get close.
i can't get enough of:
her cuddles
her chubby little cheeks
her yucky slobbery kisses
every precious moment i get to be with her
when she makes me feel needed and when i can soothe her cries
the way she opens and closes her chubby fists and just stares intently
when she looks at me with a serious face, and then breaks into a sweet baby smile

2 things

I guess I lied in the post below because it hasn't been two weeks, and I am in the midst of studying, and here I am posting on the bloggety.

There are two things that keep distracting me.

One:
I'm kind of really excited for GLEE to start again. I hope I'm not dissapointed.
And I want to be part of a flash mob sometime in the near future.

Two:
I'm really feelin stripes right now. Can't get enough.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter in Wyoming with family reflecting on the Atonement of our Savior, His resurrection, and His ever perfect example. He lives!

It was filled with breakfast crepes, conference, beautiful testimonies of Christ, and delicious dinner. Oh, and of course an indoor easter egg hunt since there was snow on the ground outside.

Livy lou and her other girlie cousin Addie

I wish I could do a more thorough post of our fun on Easter and also post about a million other things going on, but finals are next week, and in reality I probably should focus my efforts to school. So no posting for the next 2 weeks!

a few random pics and teething

This little girl LOVES being outside. I always say she is like her Grandma Hansen in that way and will probably try to be outdoors as much as possible. If she's ever fussy and I can't get her to calm down, I open the door and step outside, and she immediately stops crying.
I love to see her exploring the outdoors. She likes to touch the tree bark or just stare up at the sky. It was really difficult to get a picture while I was holding her and trying to aim that huge camera, so this is about as good as it gets.

She's all about biting her bottom lip these days.

Like mother like daughter. I took a sucker from the sucker jar at the pediatricians office. Obviously I took it for myself not for her, but she got a hold of it anyway.

Getting momma's thumb. She loves to chew on my fingers...

...and her own thumb. Sometimes she actually sucks her thumb, but usually she just bites.

Our class made these little stress balls with balloons and flour for the seniors at school, because they're taking Boards. I made a few extra, and Liv stole one from me. Now its her favorite teething toy! How funny, I never would have thought of that, but if you're a mom of a teething baby you should totally consider making a stress ball! Oh, and she has a mohawk.

And last, bonus pics from that Sunday.
