blogging funk

Its finally hit me. I never thought it would, but its here, and it may be here to stay.

I don't want to take the time to sift through pics and wait for them to upload. Its just been so nice to read everyone else's blogs and not worry about mine.

I would just stop all together, but this is the only record I keep of Olivia and our family....so I will try to buck up and continue.

But I don't know when.

Also, No, I'm not pregnant. I've 3 people ask me in the last week, and I always assume people are pregnant when they stop blogging because that always seems to be the case doesn't it?

Merry Christmas

What says Merry Christmas better than a little girl in reindeer antlers from Walgreens? I don't know either, so here she is in all her glory!
I have about a million things to update on here, like Livy meeting Santa for the first time, eskimo kisses, horse and carriage ride, Gingerbread City, and tonight we'll be attending a community Christmas Eve Service. I just love this little town of Bend. So quaint and cozy.

Hope everyone is enjoying a fabulous holiday season!

AZ

I tried to enjoy my trip to AZ even before the exam so...

we went to a christmas concert to try and get in the Christmas spirit,
even though we were freaking out because we had the biggest exam of our lives looming over our heads.

went to the Mesa Temple to find some peace,

....and of course we took the test, but I don't have pictures of that. Also, I was LOVING the warm weather!

After the test it was a lot easier to have fun.
{I just had my iphone if you couldn't tell from the beautiful quality of photos}

We went out to eat at Oregano's. We all passed!! {I stole this pic from Z's blog}
Yeah, I know I look pregnant. I'm not.

 and went to see the lights at the temple

It was sooo pretty, and this picture doesn't show it at all,
so you'll have to just take my word for it .

There were these adorable lemon trees all over the mesa temple grounds! I am now convinced there will be a lemon tree (or 3) in my front yard.

A long winter's nap

I've been absent from the blogging world for a bit. After spending 5 days in Arizona and half a day traveling to Oregon to reunite with my little family,  I got to take a nap with the sweetest girl I know. It was the perfect "welcome home mommy"!

I was in AZ taking my anesthesia boards exam, and I am very happy and VERY relieved to report that I passed both the written and clinical portions. Just waiting for my license in the mail. I will say it was the most stressful thing I think I've ever done in my life. My darling friend, after seeing that she had passed the second portion of the exam (the clinical part), let out a huge sigh of relief, then started crying, and then looked up and just said "that was the worst thing I've ever done"! I think that perfectly describes the amount of pressure and stress that we all felt that day.

We're having fun in Oregon, and will update again very soon!

So that's what's up

Whether or not you're studying for anesthesia boards, preparing presentations, studying for finals, and putting together a table clinic, the holiday season is always the busiest. This year is no different. Here's a quick update on us:
  • My mom is in town helping with Olivia's newest cousin, Penelope Marie!
  • I have no pictures to show of the cutest little thing, because I came home one day and B had sold our camera :( We will be getting a new one for Christmas though so no worries. He threw up an add on KSL and someone bought it for exactly what we bought it for, so he thought it was a good deal. He's a selling fiend.
  • We bought a new/used car, so now we both have cars again! Yay!
  • Tonight I ordered an adorable hat for Olivia from the beehive bazaar. I can't wait for it to get here!!!
  • Since we have no photos (and let's be honest here, no one reads words these days, they just look at photos) here is a video that B made randomly of O. I was r.o.l.l.i.n.g while watching it. You may not think its as funny as I do since you don't know all the stories behind these clips, but trust me, baby O is hi-larious.
