Make a wish

"It is lovely, when I forget all birthdays, including my own, to find that somebody remembers me"

I woke up to a breakfast of cinnamon rolls and strawberries and cream, while a slideshow B made played in the background. I love my husband.

I love being an adult and choosing to open
all my presents first thing in the morning....
and having a husband who is the complete opposite of me,
but lets me open all my presents if I want to :)

B was so cute and decorated the house with streamers and signs.
He put Liv in this little outfit.
Her shirt said 'Wild about Daddy' and he taped a
paper sign to make it say 'Wild about Mommy'

but it fell off. It's the thought that counts :)

For lunch we went to the Skyroom on BYU campus for a yummy buffet with Brady's family.
We were also celebrating Pat's 50th! Weird that we're almost exactly 25 years apart.

Then down to the bowling alley for arcade games and bowling.
I'm not much of a bowler, but it had been long enough since the last time that I went bowling that it was fun :)

Later that night, B's parents were so nice to babysit while we went on a date!
I had been wanting to try Thaifoon for a while and I loved it.

My dad always makes fun of me for taking pictures of food, but it helps me remember how delicious is was, and those coconut shrimps were DE-lish.
At least my sister understands my affinity for food!

25 is a milestone birthday, and one that I hear a lot of people have a mental breakdown. I did for a split second start feeling way too old, but I snapped out of it quickly.

I am thankful for all the life goals I've accomplished in my first 25 years,
and I'm excited to see what adventures the next 25 holds.

Happy Belated Birthday!!! I remembered the week before that your birthday was coming up, and then lost track of the days then remembered when I realized it was already the 7th that it had passed! I stink! I'm glad that you had a great birthday! I love that brady made the mommy sign for Liv's shirt and made you a super yummy breakfast! We love you Taryn!

Great day!! Now I know why you weren't able to answer the phone on your b'day - you were BUSY!! Just what we hoped for your special day! How fun that the Hansens were able to be there to celebrate with you and then give you the opportunity to also go out alone. Dad and his mom also shared the 25/50 birthday together - pretty cool! Olivia looks adorable (of course)! I love the picture of her and Pat! I also love the pic. of her and Sophie! I'm glad it was such a special day!
Love, mom

PS - I also Love your breakfast and the fact that Brady started out your special day in such style! Love the "25" candles and the fact that he let you open your presents when you wanted! It cracks me up that Olivia is reaching for the pacifier hanging from her stroller! I know she won't have anything to do with them in terms of sucking and pacifying with them so it's nice you found a good use for them? HA!

Thanks for the happy birthday wishes everyone!

Mom- I thought it was funny too how the pacifier entertains her in a completely different way than it is meant to :) She still won't suck on it, but now that she can use her hands she'll hold it in her mouth and just bite bite bite it. She's a teether baby now!
