We had such fun celebrating Independence Day!
We went to Sunnyfest the weekend before the 4th, so I'll post about that later.
Fireworks are illegal in Dallas County so we didn't to do much at the house.
That's okay though because Liv pretty much loves snapy pops.
We woke up and Grammy and Grampy showed Liv the flags that they put up by their front door.
Then she colored an American Flag that I drew for her :)
And then we did like 4 boxes of snapy pops to start the morning.
She would throw them and sometimes they'd pop and sometimes they wouldn't so she loved to go jump
and step on them to make them pop....or just smash them with her finger.
Trying a red, white, and blue chocolate covered strawberry I made for dessert (I let her have one early)
Sweet sweet baby Scarlett
I love her little red white blue romper
We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner and had
flag cookie cake and chocolate covered strawberries for dessert! Delicious!
After dinner I painted Liv's fingers and toes and we went outside to play
Then it was firework time! Liv got to stay up really late and then both girls schedules
were off the next day, but it was worth it :)
