We went to a dinner and movie theater where we got to sit on couches and eat dinner while we watched a movie (Nim's Island). It was the perfect way to relax and be comfortable after driving 11 hrs.
We went to the farmer's market in Bend, bought some fresh berries, climbed some trees, and saw some interesting people.

On the 4th, we spent the day in the Drake Park with the rest of the population of Bend, looking at all the crafts vendors, listening to the live band, and participating in some of the fun activities:

Hula hooping contest: Haylee was a pro, Brady tried to keep up
That night we went to a barbeque and played bocce ball and croquet into the night while we waited for the fireworks!
We floated the Deshutes River:
Quite the adventure as we all tried to stay together and not fall into the freezing water!
And of course, played with the cutest puppies ever:

WOW! Busy and very fun week! I've excited to hear about it and it was worth the wait!! So much fun! All the pictures are wonderful! I could feel the "coolness" of Oregon as I sit here in 98 degrees and look at the pictures - you even needed jackets! Looks like the Hansens continue to be really great hosts! They really know hoe to treat a guest and fam. and keep them entertained! Good memories!
