Some friends in our ward had an awesome Christmas party last night! There were several activities going on, but the best was probably the ugly sweater contest. B and I went to DI just to see if we could find anything, and I have to admit, I was skeptical. However, we did find these little gems:
Mine's not really a sweater, just a turtle neck with a fabulous print. It was about 3 sizes too big, but no worries. I just used a belt and it ended up looking like a very retro outfit. Surprisingly, I tied with Lisa for the best "sweater"! And we each won a Christmas mug and hot chocolate, which was perfect for us (see here for more details).

As we were driving home, Brady decided it would be a good idea to go to Best Buy right then. Oddly enough, we didn't get any weird looks. People just think we dress like this I guess.

that brings back memories of college. we were good friends with one particular apartment of guys who bought crazy sweaters just like those, with turtlenecks underneath, and got their pictures taken at wal-mart (with REALLY chessy smiles), to hang on their wall at christmas time. hillarity!
oH HOW FUN!!! I loved the outfits, that is such a cute idea!!! I am glad that you won, you are always so stylish, no matter what time of year it is. I love and miss you and hope you are doing well and enjoying this holiday season.

Sorry it's me again...those earrings reminded me of this time when I worked at the antique mall and one of my employees gave me and my assistant manager these terrible Christmas earrings that were huge stockings made out of a cardstock like paper. Anyway, we thought it was a joke and so we put them on and went out and were laughing so hard going hey how do we look? The girl just gave us this look that clearly said she didn't give them as a joke. HAHAHA! Oops.
