I actually left work at 5 yesterday (first time in a long time I didn't stay late), and we decided on a whim to go the Freedom Festival events on Center Street.
The giant sonic drink came up slowly behind me when I was buying a cherry limeade and scared the heck out of me, and Brady took a pic with him.
We also had to try these 'twisted taters' because they looked so cool. They were good; tasted like regular chips. We couldn't even finish all of this and ended up throwing half of it away. Next time we need to have some friends with us.

we'll be your friends. i'm so sad we haven't been to any of the festival activities this year. we've been so busy. i feel like we missed out.
I know what you mean. We already missed summerfest and strawberry days, so it was nice to at least go stop by and see some of the freedom festival stuff :)
That looks fun. Those curly chip things are crazy! Any fun plans for tomorrow (4th)??
Fun! Little fairs and festivals are so great! Glad you got to take the time!
