We have spent the last month (who am I kidding the last two YEARS) juggling schedules, which has resulted in us never seeing each other. While he's at work I'm with the cutie, and when he's home, I'm locked away studying, and on weekends I'm studying, and then he goes back to work. I HATED having to say no to curling up on the couch to watch our latest netflix and never spending time together.
When I walked out of my exam (6 hours later) I found this waiting for me in the entryway of the building:
It was a beautiful ring he had picked out at an antique shop in Ogden (which is where I had to go to take my exam) and a sweet note. It was perfect and unexpected. He knows me so well and I love that.
We didn't take many pics, just relaxed and rejuvenated: hot tub, movies, delicious food, and laughter.
I will show you this one iphone pic of part our Saturday morning brunch at Little America. While its not quite the experience that is the Grand America Sunday Brunch, it WAS SOOO delicious. Not pictured are eggs, bacon, hash browns, french toast with the thickest whipped cream, and crepes. I was quite happy with the array, and even more happy that the fruit was ripe and fresh. There is nothing worse than disgusting fruit. Oh, and those muffins! I'm drooling.
It was the best weekend! My husband is so thoughtful and just perfect for me.
I'm so glad my mother-in-law could come help us out this weekend by staying with Liv.
I have the best in-laws!
