Scarlett's blessing: part 2

After church we had a little lunch to celebrate Scarlett, and then an ice cream sundae bar. Grandma Debi came from Oregon and the Grants came from McKinney to celebrate with us! We were so happy to have everyone there! It was so nice of Debi to take Scarlett for us while we ate and enjoyed the company for awhile. We love the extra hands and help!

Oh, and if you're wondering what is going on with the pic of Olivia above, she "needed" to put "medicine" on her doggie. The medicine was baby powder (which we don't use) and when I caught her doing it I just didn't care enough to stop her. She gets a little overwhelmed when there are a lot of people around so I let her get away with a lot more when family is visiting. I just thought she's not hurting anyone and she's happy, this isn't a battle I want to fight right now.

We also celebrated Caleb's bday! While he was opening presents, I set up the ice cream bar and we all enjoyed a sweet treat!

We love having fun with family and enjoyed just hanging out with everyone.
Scarlett is such an even tempered baby. We love just letting her lay on a blanket on the ground to listen to her coo and see her many smiles. While we were all sitting and chatting I had B take some shots of this bracelet that our sweet Bishop's wife made for her! I love it.

At one point in the evening, Olivia and Brady went outside and Liv stepped in a pile of fire ants. She came in screaming and crying. We counted 13 stings and her poor little foot was red and swollen. I couldn't get a good picture of it since we were hurrying and trying to get something to soothe the pain, but you can see in this blurry shot that her foot was already swelling.

She was pretty sad about it for awhile, but luckily cousin Claire had her mommy put curlers in her hair and when Liv saw her, she totally forgot about her foot and wanted curlers in her hair too :) I love these two little girlies!
