Finally...

You'll never hear me say that again, but when you get punked by the national weather service you actually look forward to snow.

Maybe because last Tuesday they told us there would be at least a foot of snow on the ground, that we would be having the worst blizzard of the decade, that everyone should leave work/school early, that we should stock up on groceries....maybe because I made homemade wassail and soup, got cuddled up with my hubby with a good movie and kettle corn, and peeked out the window every hour......only to  find NOTHING. Such a bummer.

But now it is Sunday and it is here! I am nothing but happy about it.
Maybe because B is driving me to school tomorrow :)

In other news, my poor sweetheart baby is sick.

I was just rocking and singing quietly in her ear.
I just love her little hand on my wrist.
Then I had to rock and rock and rock her until she fell asleep in my arms.

The snowflakes-in-the-hair picture is beautiful!! You might've gotten punked, but we ended up with 8 inches from that first storm! I know what you mean though...makes you never believe them when they say we're in for a storm. Did you get more today?? We probably got 10 (yes 10) inches!! It's crazy, but kinda fun.

PS poor Liv! Hope she gets better soon!

poor little livy baby. so sad.

i know what you mean. i was like a little kid this morning when i saw the snow. i got so excited. it was fun, too, because we got our tree last night so it's right by the window, all lit up and decorated. it makes it feel like christmas with the snow on the ground. the other 'storm' was a bit of a disappointment.

I love the snow on the hair! Maybe they make a big deal early of an upcoming storm on purpose so when it really does storm everyone is actually excited! Sweet Olivia - it is so sad when babies don't feel well - and so sweet because they are so cuddly!

so I am a little jealous of all your snow! The weather here can't decide on 80 or 60 degrees but I wish it would just be cold so we could wear sweaters, scarves and boots AND play in some snow! Sorry to hear livy is sick! hope she gets better quickly, seems to be going around everywhere!
